Bark tea: boil small piece of bark in 2 cups water 15 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever and digestive complaints. Bark poultice applied to skin inflammation and infections. Inner bark chewed for toothache relief. Fermented bark drink used traditionally as tonic — drink 1 cup daily for up to 2 weeks for immune and digestive support.
