Prepared as

Leaf tea: boil handful in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for respiratory infections and cough. Fresh leaves chewed for digestive complaints. Poultice: crush fresh leaves, apply to wounds and inflamed skin. Seed tea: steep 1 tsp crushed seeds in hot water 10 minutes, drink for urinary complaints and kidney support.
