Traditionally used
⚠ Avoid in pregnancy — a uterine stimulant (emmenagogue) containing thujone, not for prolonged or high-dose use. Traditionally used to support digestion, calm nervous tension, and — in folk practice — aid dream recall and offer spiritual protection.
On the Adriatic shore
Čaj od crnog pelina: žlica sušenih listova na 250 ml, 10 min. Za probavnu gorčinu i menstrualne smetnje. Kratkotrajna upotreba (max 2 tjedna). NE u trudnoći.
Prepared as
Prepare as a hot infusion using 1 teaspoon dried leaves per cup of boiling water, steeped for 10-15 minutes. Can also be made into a tincture or used as a smudging herb when dried.
