Hemp agrimony
Eupatoire chanvrine
Eupatorium cannabinum
Asteraceae

Traditionally used
Hemp agrimony — a tall riverside herb once taken as a choleretic and laxative for the liver. ⚠ Modern caution overrides the old use: it contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids, which are toxic to the liver and cannot be taken safely internally, and it is emetic at higher doses. Kept here as a documented plant, not a recommended remedy.
In three languages
