Traditionally used

Goldenrod is a gentle diuretic and mild astringent, turned to for the flushing of the urinary tract and for support in kidney complaints and fluid retention. The infusion is taken hot, often paired with birch leaf and restharrow for oedema. Its astringency also steadies loose bowels.

L'infusion se prend chaude, souvent associée au bouleau et à la bugrane pour l'œdème. Son astringence apaise aussi les diarrhées.
