Traditionally used to expel intestinal parasites and to encourage delayed menstruation. This bitter herb has also been employed for digestive complaints and as an insect repellent, though great caution is required due to its toxicity in larger doses.

Prepared as

Prepared as a weak infusion using 1 teaspoon of dried leaves per cup of boiling water, steeped for 5-10 minutes. Only very small amounts should be used due to toxicity concerns.
