Traditionally used

Cleavers serves as a gentle lymphatic cleanser, supporting the body's natural detoxification processes through the lymph system. It has traditionally been used for kidney and urinary tract health, and for various skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis.

Prepared as

Fresh cleavers is prepared as a cold infusion by soaking the young spring shoots in cool water for 2-4 hours, or as a gentle hot infusion steeped for 10-15 minutes. The fresh juice can also be extracted and taken in small doses.
