Sweet broom — Scoparia dulcis, used in Haitian and Caribbean herbal tradition

Traditionally used

A slender, sweet-tasting herb of yards and paths, one of the busiest remedies in Caribbean bush medicine — a decoction for stomach upset, fever, high blood sugar, and coughs, and a wash for skin sores. ⚠ It lowers blood sugar — use with care alongside diabetes medication (additive hypoglycaemia).
