Prepared as

Leaf tea: steep 1 tbsp fresh or dried leaves in hot water 10 minutes, drink 1 cup twice daily for fever and respiratory complaints. Steam inhalation: add handful of leaves to boiling water, inhale steam for congestion. Crushed leaves applied to wounds. Used fresh in cooking as food medicine.
