Traditionally used

Pumpkin seed — a gentle, food-safe remedy. The peeled seeds are traditionally taken (often as a purée) to expel tapeworm and to ease the irritable bladder and early prostate enlargement of later life; also a mild laxative and diuretic. Well tolerated.

Français — Graine de courge — remède doux, sans danger alimentaire. Les graines pelées se prennent traditionnellement (souvent en purée) pour expulser le ténia et soulager vessie irritable et hypertrophie prostatique débutante; aussi léger laxatif et diurétique. Bien tolérée.
