Traditionally used
Scurvy-grass — a sharp, vitamin-C-rich spring green once carried against scurvy. Eaten fresh, as diluted juice, or in a syrup, traditionally as a depurative, diuretic, and antirheumatic tonic. Use the fresh plant; heat destroys its virtue.
