Traditionally used

Peppermint is traditionally used to soothe digestive complaints including nausea, indigestion, and irritable bowel syndrome symptoms. It also provides relief for tension headaches and respiratory congestion through its cooling and antispasmodic properties.

Prepared as

Fresh or dried leaves are prepared as a hot infusion using 1-2 teaspoons per cup of boiling water, steeped for 5-10 minutes. For digestive issues, drink warm after meals.
