Chickweed

Traditionally used

Chickweed is a soft, cooling herb taken as a tisane to loosen mucus and ease congested membranes, and to gently wake the appetite. It is used only alongside comparable plants rather than alone. Externally, compresses of the whole plant are laid on wounds, eczema, and slow-healing sores.
