Traditionally used

Common daisy — a mild, little-used folk remedy. A leaf tisane has been taken as a gentle, cooling, faintly laxative drink for coughs and congestion, and a fresh-plant tincture dabbed on mouth ulcers. Its effects are slight and unremarkable; it is better known as a bruise and skin herb in home tradition than as a strong medicine.

Français — Pâquerette — un remède populaire doux et peu employé. Une tisane de feuilles se prend comme boisson légère, rafraîchissante et faiblement laxative contre la toux et la congestion, et une teinture de plante fraîche s'applique sur les aphtes. Ses effets sont ténus et sans particularité ; elle est plus connue comme herbe des contusions et de la peau dans la tradition domestique que comme remède puissant.
