Prepared as

Leaf poultice: crush fresh leaves, apply to wounds, rashes, and inflamed skin to reduce swelling. Tea: boil handful of leaves in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever and respiratory complaints. Fresh juice applied to eczema and itchy skin. Cold infusion: soak leaves in cold water overnight, drink for cooling and anti-inflammatory effect.
