Leaf tea: steep 4-5 fresh leaves in boiling water 10 minutes, drink 1 cup twice daily for blood pressure and kidney support. Fresh chayote fruit eaten regularly for cardiovascular health and weight management. Cooked fruit eaten for digestive fiber. Leaf poultice applied to inflamed skin and painful joints. Fruit juice drunk fresh for hydration and kidney flushing.
