Traditionally used
An alpine relative of lady's mantle, astringent from its tannins. In folk use a decoction of leaf and flower was taken as a mild tonic; its traditional cardiac and kidney claims are weakly evidenced and best left to a practitioner. Chiefly an astringent for minor complaints.
