Traditionally used

Hawthorn has been traditionally used as a heart tonic to support cardiovascular health and improve circulation. It is also employed to help with anxiety, restlessness, and sleep disturbances, particularly when these conditions are related to nervous heart complaints.

Prepared as

Traditional preparation involves making an infusion with 1-2 teaspoons of dried flowers or berries in hot water, steeped for 10-15 minutes. The tea is typically consumed 2-3 times daily.
