Prepared as

Syrup: simmer sliced leeks with honey for 20 minutes, strain, take 1 tablespoon three times daily for cough and bronchitis. Raw leek eaten for immunity and heart health. Leaf poultice applied to insect bites and inflamed skin. Leek broth: simmer 2 leeks in 4 cups water 20 minutes, drink 1 cup daily for respiratory and digestive support.
