Round-leaved sundew — Drosera rotundifolia, used in Haitian and Caribbean herbal tradition

Traditionally used

Sundew — a small insect-catching bog plant, antispasmodic on the airways. Taken as a weak infusion or a few drops of tincture, traditionally for whooping cough and dry, spasmodic coughs. ⚠ The whole-plant extract irritates the mucosa; keep the dose low. (Wild sundews are protected — use cultivated stock.)

In three languages
