⚠ Toxic — a cardiac plant for a practitioner's hands only, never self-dosed. The whole plant carries digitalis-like glycosides that act on the heart, with a narrow dose and real cumulative risk. Recorded in European tradition for a weak or irregular heart, but it belongs to standardized medical preparations under supervision. Avoid in pregnancy.
