Traditionally used

Motherwort is traditionally used to calm heart palpitations and nervous anxiety, particularly in women during menopause or times of emotional stress. It has long been valued for regulating menstrual cycles and easing the transition through life's passages, while also promoting restful sleep.

Prepared as

Prepare as a hot infusion using 1-2 teaspoons of dried aerial parts steeped in boiling water for 10-15 minutes. The bitter tea can be sweetened with honey and taken 2-3 times daily.
