Traditionally used

Greater celandine has been traditionally used to support liver and gallbladder function, particularly for sluggish digestion and bile flow. The fresh latex from the stem is applied topically to warts and other skin growths, while internal preparations address digestive spasms and stomach complaints.

Prepared as

Fresh latex is applied directly to warts several times daily until resolved. For internal use, prepare as a weak tea using 1 teaspoon of dried herb per cup of hot water, steeped for 10 minutes and taken in small doses.
