Traditionally used
A small blue-flowered creeper of open ground, taken as a gentle nervine and memory tonic and, in decoction, for fevers and nervous exhaustion — the plant Indian tradition calls shankhpushpi, at home too in Caribbean bush medicine.

Kreyòl — ranfòse memwa (tonik pou sèvo); kalme anksyete ak fatig nè; bese lafyèv, tous ak refwadisman; soulaje opresyon ak bwonchit
Français — Petit liseron à fleurs bleues des terrains ouverts, pris comme nervin doux et tonique de la mémoire et, en décoction, contre les fièvres et l'épuisement nerveux — la plante que la tradition indienne nomme shankhpushpi, chez elle aussi dans la médecine caribéenne.
