Common Mallow — Malva sylvestris, used in Adriatic and Balkan herbal tradition

Traditionally used

Take 1–2 hours apart from oral medications (mucilage slows absorption). Leaf or flower cold infusion (2 tsp / 250 ml cold water, soak 2h or 1 tsp / 200 ml hot, 10 min): sore throat, dry cough, GI inflammation. Poultice: skin boils, inflammation.

Čaj od sljeza: 2 žlice lišća ili cvijeta na 250 ml hladne vode (2h maceracija) ili 200 ml kipuće vode (10 min). Za grlo, kašalj, upale kože.

Français — Infusion froide (2 c. à café / 250 ml eau froide, 2h) ou chaude (1 c. à café / 200 ml, 10 min) : gorge irritée, toux, inflammation digestive.
