None established. May slow absorption of oral medications if taken simultaneously. Carob pod tea (1 tbsp crushed dried pod / 250 ml, simmer 10 min): diarrhoea, GI cramps. Carob syrup + honey: children's cough. Pod powder as food supplement.

Čaj od rogača: žlica zdrobljenih suhih mahuna na 250 ml, kuhati 10 min. Za proljev i grčeve. Sirup od rogača s medom: kašalj za djecu.

Français — Décoction gousses (1 c. à soupe / 250 ml, 10 min mijotage) : diarrhée, crampes GI. Sirop de caroube + miel : toux enfants.
