Prepared as

Bark decoction: boil small piece of bark in 2 cups water 15 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for diarrhea, fever, and inflammation. Leaf tea: boil handful 10 minutes for respiratory complaints. Bark poultice applied to wounds and skin infections. Propagule tip tea used for blood sugar support. Tannins in bark provide strong astringent action for digestive complaints.
