Prepared as

Young leaves boiled and eaten as vegetable for nutrition and iron. Leaf tea: boil handful in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink 1 cup daily for anemia and inflammation. Seed decoction: boil 1 tbsp seeds 15 minutes, drink for digestive complaints. Root tea: boil small piece 15 minutes for fever. Fresh leaf juice applied to skin irritations and minor wounds.
