Prepared as

Seed tea: steep 1 tsp crushed seeds in hot water 10 minutes, drink 1 cup twice daily for urinary complaints and inflammation. Seed mucilage: soak 1 tsp seeds in cold water 30 minutes until gel forms, drink for digestive soothing and constipation. Leaf poultice applied to inflamed skin and wounds. Root decoction: boil small piece 15 minutes for kidney support.
