Prepared as

Leaf tea: boil handful in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever, respiratory infections, and pain. Fresh leaf poultice applied to wounds, swellings, and inflamed skin. Root decoction: boil small piece 15 minutes, drink for digestive and kidney complaints. Leaf steam inhalation for asthma and bronchitis. Use consistently for 2 weeks for best effect.
