Prepared as

Young leaves boiled and eaten as vegetable for nutrition and iron. Leaf tea: boil handful in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink 1 cup twice daily for inflammation and digestive support. Mucilage from boiled leaves drunk for sore throat and digestive soothing. Seed oil applied to dry skin and hair. Leaf poultice applied to wounds and inflamed skin.
