Prepared as

Bark decoction: boil small piece of bark in 2 cups water 20 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever, malaria, and respiratory infections. Leaf tea: boil handful 10 minutes for digestive complaints. Bark poultice applied to infected wounds and skin conditions. Resin applied directly to wounds as natural antiseptic. Use bark preparations no more than 2 weeks continuously.
