Prepared as

Root tea: boil small piece of root in 2 cups water 15 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for immunity, pain, and anti-parasitic action. Leaf tea: boil handful 10 minutes for fever and inflammation. Root tincture: steep dried root in alcohol 2 weeks, take 30 drops twice daily for immune support. Fresh root poultice applied to wounds and skin infections.
