Leaf tea: steep handful of fresh leaves in hot water 10 minutes, drink 1 cup after meals for digestion, gas, and nausea. Fresh leaves added to cooking for flavor and digestive benefit. Leaf juice mixed with honey for cough and sore throat. Seed tea: steep crushed seeds for digestive complaints. Leaf poultice applied to headache at temples and inflamed skin.
