Cudweed (kamomi) — Gnaphalium viscosum, used in Haitian and Caribbean herbal tradition

Prepared as

Leaf tea: boil handful in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever, cough, and respiratory complaints. Fresh leaf poultice applied to wounds and inflamed skin. Root decoction: boil small piece 15 minutes, drink for digestive complaints. Leaf steam inhalation for sinus congestion. Dried leaves burned as mosquito repellent. Use for 2 weeks continuously.
