Prepared as

Leaf poultice: crush fresh leaves, apply to wounds and inflamed skin to promote healing. Seed oil applied to dry skin, eczema, and scalp conditions. Leaf tea: boil handful in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever and inflammation. Root bark decoction: boil small piece 15 minutes, drink for digestive and liver complaints.
