Cinderella weed (fèy depo) — Synedrella nodiflora, used in Haitian and Caribbean herbal tradition

Wounds, inflammation, fever, skin conditions, digestive complaints

Prepared as

Leaf poultice: crush fresh leaves, apply to wounds and inflamed skin for healing. Tea: boil handful of leaves in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever and digestive complaints. Bark decoction: boil small piece 15 minutes for antimicrobial action. Fresh leaf juice applied to skin rashes and infections. Use for 2 weeks maximum continuously.
