Carrot (kawòt) — Daucus carota, used in Haitian and Caribbean herbal tradition

Prepared as

Raw juice: juice 2-3 carrots daily for eye and immune support. Seed tea: steep 1 tsp crushed seeds in hot water 10 minutes, drink for urinary complaints and menstrual regulation. Raw carrot eaten daily for digestion and vitamin A. Carrot poultice: grate raw carrot, apply to wounds and skin infections. Carrot broth drunk for recovery from illness.
