Prepared as

Root decoction: boil small piece of root in 2 cups water 15 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever and urinary infections. Leaf tea: boil handful 10 minutes for inflammation and pain. Fresh leaf poultice applied to wounds, skin infections, and swollen joints. Root powder mixed with oil applied topically to aching muscles. Use consistently for 2 weeks for best effect.
