Prepared as

Leaf poultice: crush fresh leaves, apply to wounds and inflamed skin to promote healing. Tea: boil handful of leaves in 2 cups water 10 minutes, drink half cup twice daily for fever and headache. Stem juice applied directly to cuts to stop bleeding. Root decoction: boil small piece 15 minutes, drink for constipation and digestive sluggishness.
