Agrimony (Egremwàn) — Agrimonia eupatoria, used in Haitian and Caribbean herbal tradition

Traditionally used

Agrimony is traditionally valued as a digestive tonic and liver support herb, particularly for treating jaundice, gallbladder complaints, and chronic diarrhea. It has also been used as a blood purifier and kidney supportive remedy in European folk medicine.

Prepared as

Prepare as a warm infusion using 1-2 teaspoons of dried herb per cup of hot water, steeped for 10-15 minutes. Can also be prepared as an alcohol tincture for more concentrated effects.
